Not built from theory. Built from real life.

Everything you see here was created by someone who has lived through generational trauma, emotional abuse, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and postpartum mental health.

I’m not teaching this from theory.

I built this because I needed something that actually worked in real life. Not ideal life. Not aesthetic life. Real, messy, capacity-changing life.

Why This Exists

Journaling never felt like it was for me.

Even as a kid, it felt like a performance. I was always thinking about who might read it, what it would sound like, what story I was telling. And deeper than that, it didn’t feel safe.

I grew up with emotional abuse, manipulation, and instability. Privacy wasn’t respected, and expression didn’t feel safe. So I learned to keep things in, filter them, or reshape them into something “acceptable.”

Which meant I never journaled honestly. I never processed anything fully and every planner or system I tried later just added more pressure.

At some point, I thought maybe I was the problem.

I wasn’t.

What I Actually Needed

I didn’t need another planner.

I needed a way to work through trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and postpartum mental health in a way that didn’t feel like something else I could fail at.

I needed something that helped me reconnect with myself without pressure, perfection, or performance.

So I built something different.

What Leaf & Latch Is

Leaf & Latch exists for people who feel disconnected from themselves after trauma. Not in a vague, inspirational way. In a real, lived-in, “I don’t even recognize myself anymore” kind of way.

I create plant-inspired digital ritual journals and creative tools designed to help you process trauma, untangle your thoughts, and reconnect with yourself without pressure, perfection, or feeling like you’re doing it wrong.

This wasn’t built from theory. It was built while living through generational trauma, emotional abuse, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and postpartum mental health. I didn’t need something aesthetic. I needed something that actually worked when my capacity was low, my thoughts were loud, and my nervous system was fried.

Through Leaf & Latch Studio, I also create custom digital journal experiences for creators, brands, and events who want to offer something deeper than surface-level content. Something their audience can actually use to process, reflect, and grow.

At the core of all of it is this: ritual over routine. A ritual is a repeated, intentional practice that helps you build awareness, reconnect with yourself, and respond to your life with honesty instead of survival mode.

Why Plants (because honestly… they get it)

Plants don’t rush growth. They don’t perform or force themselves into perfect conditions. They adapt, respond, and grow in their own time.

No shame. No pressure. No “you should be further along by now.”

That’s the energy behind everything I create.

This Is For You If…

Journaling has never felt natural for you. Not because you don’t care, but because every version of it you’ve tried either felt performative, overwhelming, or like one more thing you were going to fall behind on.

Your thoughts don’t come out in neat prompts. They come out loud, tangled, all at once, or not at all. You’ve probably sat in front of a blank page, overthought it, avoided it, or shut it down halfway through because it didn’t feel helpful anyway.

After a while, it starts to feel like maybe you’re just bad at it.

You’re not. You’ve just been handed tools that were never built for the way your brain, your experiences, and your life actually work.

Leaf & Latch isn’t here to fix you, because you’re not broken.

It’s here to give you a place to hear yourself again, process what you’re carrying, and start reconnecting with who you are underneath all of it. No pressure, no performance, no pretending you’re fine when you’re not.

Just something that finally works.
