Leaf & Latch occasionally offers beta testing opportunities for select products, features, or services. This Beta Tester Program Disclosure explains what participation means, what testers can expect, and how feedback may be used.

Participation in any Leaf & Latch beta testing program is voluntary and subject to the terms outlined below.

Purpose of the Beta Tester Program

The Beta Tester Program exists to:

  • Test early versions of products, layouts, features, or workflows
  • Identify bugs, usability issues, or design improvements
  • Gather feedback to improve the final customer experience

Beta versions are works in progress and may change significantly before public release.

Eligibility & Selection

Beta testing opportunities are offered at the sole discretion of Leaf & Latch.

Participation may be:

  • By invitation only
  • Limited in number
  • Offered publicly or privately

Leaf & Latch reserves the right to accept, decline, or remove participants at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to misuse, non-participation, or violation of applicable policies.

No Guarantee of Final Access or Outcomes

Participation in beta testing:

  • Does not guarantee continued access to the final product
  • Does not guarantee future discounts, free products, or ongoing involvement
  • Does not guarantee that feedback will be implemented

Final product decisions remain solely with Leaf & Latch.

Compensation, Discounts & Free Access

Beta testers may receive:

  • Free access to beta versions
  • Discounted pricing
  • Store credit
  • Early previews

Any such benefits are offered at Leaf & Latch’s discretion and may vary by test.

Beta access or incentives have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may not be exchanged for refunds unless explicitly stated.

Feedback & Contributions

By participating in the Beta Tester Program, you agree that:

  • Any feedback, suggestions, ideas, or insights you provide may be used by Leaf & Latch
  • Feedback may be implemented, modified, or declined without notice
  • You do not retain ownership, authorship, or compensation rights for submitted feedback

Providing feedback does not create a partnership, employment relationship, or entitlement to royalties or credit.

Confidentiality & Early Access

Some beta tests may involve early, unreleased, or private content.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, beta testers agree to:

  • Not share beta materials publicly
  • Not redistribute files or screenshots
  • Not disclose unreleased features or content

Leaf & Latch may remove access if confidentiality is breached.

Product Limitations & Risk Acknowledgment

Beta products may:

  • Contain errors or bugs
  • Change without notice
  • Be incomplete or unstable

By participating, you acknowledge and accept these risks and agree to use beta products at your own discretion.

No Replacement for Final Support Policies

Beta testing does not override or replace:

  • Return & Refund Policy
  • Terms of Service
  • Intellectual Property Policy

Unless otherwise stated, beta products are subject to the same usage, licensing, and limitation rules as standard products.

Program Changes or Termination

Leaf & Latch may modify, pause, or discontinue the Beta Tester Program at any time without notice.

Participation may end automatically when:

  • The beta test concludes
  • The product is publicly released
  • The tester is removed from the program
