Our Philosophy on Impact
Leaf & Latch exists at the intersection of care — for ourselves, for others, and for the world we live in.
Our impact efforts are guided by two core beliefs:
- Growth outside of us matters (environmental care and restoration)
- Growth within us matters (mental health, emotional well-being, and support for youth)
We support causes that align with these values through intentional giving, partnerships, and future impact campaigns.
How Donations Work
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, purchases from Leaf & Latch do not automatically include a guaranteed donation to a nonprofit organization.
Instead, we may offer specific, time-bound impact initiatives, such as:
- Designated donation campaigns
- Limited-edition products tied to a cause
- Seasonal or annual giving initiatives
- Community-driven fundraising efforts
When a donation is tied to a specific campaign, we will clearly disclose:
- The name of the organization(s) supported
- The nature of the contribution (percentage, flat amount, or capped total)
- The campaign timeframe
- When and how donations will be made
No assumptions should be made about donations outside of those explicitly communicated campaigns.
Donation Amounts & Timing
For campaigns that include donations:
- Donation amounts may be calculated as a percentage of sales, a flat contribution, or a pre-determined capped amount
- Donations are typically made after the campaign concludes, not per individual transaction
- Timing of donations may depend on campaign completion, administrative processing, or partner organization requirements
Leaf & Latch does not currently process donations in real time at checkout unless clearly stated.
